On May 11,2017, a lecture/ workshop entitled “The changing of land use for using GİS” was held for students and researchers of Khazar University majoring in geography with the  coordination of  Rovshan Abbasov, Head of the Department of Geography and the Environment .  The lecture was delivered by Dr.Mehmet Cetin, instructor of the Faculty of Agriculture and Engineering, Head of the Department of Landscape Architecture. Graduate students of Baku State University majoring in geography and graduate students of Azerbaijan State University of Economics studying MBA also took part in the seminar held at Khazar University.

At the end of the seminar, Dr.Mehmet Cetin answered the questions of the students and researchers and Gunay Karimova, an employee of the Department of Geography and Environment presented a gift to the guest on behalf of Khazar University.
