On May 7, 2017, the 42nd graduation ceremony of Khazar University students was held in the conference hall of “Dunya” School. University administration, professors, teachers, students, parents and guests took part in the event. The ceremony started with the National Hymn of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Dr. Hassan Niknafs, President of Khazar University, congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future life and career.

It was also mentioned that for all 26 years 3038 bachelor and 623 master degree students 

(including 94 bachelor and 7 master studnets for the current year) graduted from Khazar University. 767 students among them got the honor diploma. The hosts of the event read University Administration’s letter addressed to the students.

The congratulations videos of Khazar University`s previous years graduates who currently work in different countries  of the world were presented to the audience. Then diploma presentation ceremony started. Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University; Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice President of Khazar University for Academic Affairs; deans of schools; chairs of departments; and instructors presented diplomas. 4 students who volunteered during their study years were awarded for their “active participation” and the certificates were presented by  Dr. Isakhan Isakhanli, Vice President for Administration and Student Affairs. After the chorus performance , the graduates took the Khazar University oath.  Khumar Huseynova,  Head of the Training and Development Division of HR Department in the Central Bank; Ramal Ahmadov, Head Office Group Leader in Demirbank JSC and Vice President of Alumni Association;  Saadat Novruzova , the employee of the Azerbaijan Presidential Administration delivered speeches on behalf of previous gradutes of the university and emphasized that the knowledge and experience gained at Khazar University will pave the way for the successful future career of the students. Most of Khazar graduates currently work in govermental organizations, private companes and some run their own business.

On behalf of parents Azada Samadova spoke to express her gratitude to the university administration and teachers.

Students  Nizami Aliyev, Ayshan Bashirova and Huseyn Gahramanli recited naziras to Hamlet Isakhanli’s poem “I just loved you much”.

Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli made a speech in the event to congratulate the graduates. He talked about favorable educational atmosphere at the university, emphasising that it not only prepares high-quality professionals but also raises up a well-rounded young generation. He also highlighted hard work of professor-teacher staff, university’s close relationships with other universities of the world, the ever-growing material and technical base, Khazar University’s being the first among Azerbaijan universties in international organizations’ ranking and also about the future plans of the university

The ceremony continued with videos and presentations of graduates’ photos and the concert program consisting of performances of university’s dance groups organized by the Department of  Music and Fine Arts. The ceremony ended with graduates’ presenting flowers to Hamlet Isakhanli and taking memory photos.
