According to the agreement between the Department of Civil Engineering of Khazar University and Norm cement plant, students majoring in civil engineering and chemical engineering spent a day in Norm cement plant on May 4, 2017. The students had a chance to listen to lectures of the leading specialists of the plant and got acquainted with the production process. They got thorough information about the raw material used in the production process, content choice, clinker griding, and so on.

In addition, the students had a chance to observe the physico-chemical and physical-mechanical  processes in cement and concrete laboratories which meet European standards.

Given that the meeting was effective for both sides, an agreement was reached to  continue the cooperation in the future as well.
