On May 3, 2017, the next event of the leading information agency “Thomson Reuters” “Web of Science” platform, intended for the institutions of higher education in Azerbaijan, was held in Baku State University. Aygun Babazadeh, the employee of “Thomson Reuters” Agency Science and Education Department, gave comprehensive information about the agency she represents and its scientific journals. On the second part of the event Khayala Mammadova, assistant editor of “Khazar Humanities and Social Sciences” journal of Khazar University gave information about the rules for the preparation of scientific articles and managing principles of international scientific journals, and other practical issues related to the journals in “Web of Science” platform.

The participants’ questions were answered at the end of the event.

The events of this kind will be held in other universities of Azerbaijan, too.
