On May 2, 2017, Professor Mehmet Hakki Alma, Rector of  Igdir University and Shahin Ahmedoglu, associate professor of the university visited Khazar university. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and the Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, welcomed the guests and gave them through information about the university. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli and professor Mehmet Hakki Alma , the Rector of Igdir University signed agreements within  the framework of comprehensive cooperation and Mevlana Program. The guests visited the university laboratories, met with the students studying carpet weaving and jewelry programs. Alovsat Amirbeyli,the Director of Public Relations and Media Office also took part in the meeting.
