Faculty Member of Department of English Language and Literature Publishes Article

The article by Ilham Taghiyev, PhD candidate and instructor of the Department of the English Language and Literature at Khazar University entitled “Violation of Grice’s Maxims and Ambiguity in English Linguistic Jokes” was published in the 7^th issue of the International Journal of Advances in Social Sciences. The paper is interesting in terms of the author’s approach to the study of humor from the point of view of Cooperative Principles (CP) suggested by American philosopher Paul Grice.
