On April 1-2 Khazar students visited Christian and Jewish confession temples within the project “Knowing World Religions Closer” under Elnura Azizova’s guidance, the assistant professor, teacher, at The Department of Cultures and Languages.

 On April 1, students too part in Shabat ceremony in the synagogue of European and Georgian jews. After the ceremony priest Rabai Shneor answered students’ questions. On April 2, the students participated in Eucharist ritual in Virgin Mary Church.

At the end of the ceremony priest Vladimir shade light upon the issues our students were interested in. In both of the temples the students discussed religious tolerance and the attitude of religious communities towards coexistence of diversities in Azerbaijan.
