On February 16, 2017, a meeting with the winners of the “Spaghetti Bridge” Competition for Fall Semester 2016 was held at Khazar University. The first-place winners of the competition, the members of Khazar University’s “Koroglu” team, included Rovshan Allahverdiev, Murad Tapdigli, Sultan Ismayilov and Fadima Bayraqdarova. This team’s spaghetti bridge was able to hold 48.66 kg of weight before breaking. The weight of the bridge was 0.894 kg.

In a brief ceremony, Dr. Hassan Niknafs, the Acting Dean of the Engineering College, met with the team members and congratulated them for their achievement in designing such a quality bridge for the competition.
