On January 4-14, 2017, Farda Asadov, Khazar University instructor, visited Mecca and Medina within the framework of the “Guests of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud Hosting” program.
On February 7, 2017, Khazar University’s Department of History and Archeology organized a meeting in which Farda Asadov shared his impressions of the visit to Mecca and Medina. The meeting was attended by Roza Arazova, Head of the Department of History and Archeology; instructors Orxan Zamanov, Ulviyya Ibrahimova, Samira Garayeva; Akifa Jafarli, assistant to the department head; Elza Samadova, Dean of the School of Education; Baba Bayramlı, Alumni Center Coordinator; Elnura Azizova, Head of the Department of Languages and Cultures; Irada Khalilova, Head of the Department of Biological Sciences; Vurgun Ayyub, Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature; Eynur Mehdiyev, Head of the Department of English Language and Literature; Zivar Huseynli, instructor; and Jabir Mammadli, Coordinator of the Department of Journalism.
