On January 24, 2017, a groundbreaking ceremony for the Khazar Holiday Centre (Khazar Palace) was held in Buzovna settlement of the city of Baku. The ceremony was attended by Khazar University’s administrators and staff members as well as representatives from the construction company.

Information about the new building was shared with the participants of the ceremony. Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, informed, the center will include conference halls and guest rooms as well as sports halls and a swimming pool. Prof. Isaxanli laid a foundation stone of the Khazar Holiday Centre (Khazar Palace), and the participants of the ceremony witnessed the start of the actual construction work.
