On December 22, 2016, the university administration held a meeting with fourteen 2016 bachelor-level graduates of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences as well as five graduates of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Participants in the meeting included President Hassan Niknafs; Professor Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Associate Professor Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences; and Baba Bayramli, Director of the Center for Alumni Relations. The objective of the meeting was to maintain relationships with alumni and discuss their future plans. 

At the end of the meeting, alumni shared their thoughts and impressions of the university.
