On December 5-7, 2016, an adult world kickboxing championship was held in Kharkov, Ukraine. Firudin Hasanov, third-year student of Khazar University’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences majoring in translation studies, took second place and earned a silver medal in the event.

We note that Firudin Hasanov is a winner of several international championships. He has been the Azerbaijani champion of his category 6 times and has won gold medals in European and Eurasian competitions.
