On December 1-2, 2016, Ziyad Amrahov, Director of the Division of Armenian Studies in the Caucasian Studies Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences as well as instructor for Khazar University Department of History and Archeology, gave a presentation in English on “Soviet plans about Black Sea Straits after World War II” at an international symposium on “the Middle East and Turkey 100 Years after the Sykes-Picot Secret Agreement” which was jointly organized by the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey in Ankara’s Ataturk Research Center and Yildirim Beyazid University in Ankara.
After the lecture, Amrahov answered symposium participants’ questions.
