On November 28, 2016, Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, met with Major General Firudin Nabiyev, Head of the State Migration Services of the Azerbaijan Republic, at the Migration Services office. They discussed partnership opportunities between Khazar University and Azerbaijan State Migration Services.  They also exchanged ideas about issues related to foreign specialists and scholars visiting Azerbaijan. As a result of their discussions, they made a decision that Khazar University and Azerbaijan State Migration Services will jointly organize a thematic conference in March 2017.
