On November 25, 2016, Dr. Roza Arazova and Orkhan Zamanov organized a scholarly roundtable discussion with Professor Michael Jarvis of Rochester University (New York, USA) with Khazar University faculty members. The seminar covered applications of digital technology in the teaching and learning of archeology and history. Participants included Ulviyya Huseynova, Coordinator of the Khazar University Career Center; Baba Bayramli, Director of the Center for Alumni Relations; Mahammad Sharifov, Director of the Internet Institute; and Namiq Huseynli of the ANAS Archeology and Ethnography Institute.

Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University, also joined the seminar. The event was held in English and included an interesting presentation and discussions.
