For Peace Team Meets with Ambassador of Palestine

On November 18, 2016, For Peace team members met with the Ambassador of Palestine to Azerbaijan, His Excellency Mr. Nasser Abdel Kareem. The meeting was organized as part of their participation in the P2P: Challenging Extremism Program.

Participants conducted an interview with the ambassador to learn about his opinion on extremism and how we can build awareness about it. The ambassador answered the team’s questions and shared his knowledge on this matter. His Excellency Mr. Nasser Abdel Kareem thanked the team for their initiative and wished them good luck in their future activities and participation in the program.

The For Peace team is participating in the P2P: Challenging Extremism Program, a global university youth initiative and an international competition supported by the U.S. Department of State.

More information is available on the team’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/challengeextremismforpeace/?fref=ts
