On November 22, 2016, Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, hosted a delegation of guests from Turkey including Yalçın Topçu, Senior Advisor to President of the Republic of Turkey R. T. Erdoğan and former Minister of Culture and Tourism; Metin Gündoğdu, Parliament Member for the AK Party Army of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey; and other guests. Y. Topçu presented a gift to H. Isaxanli. Then the guests met with Khazar University students in the Marble Hall. Y. Topçu gave a presentation about the political situation in Turkey and answered students’ questions.

H. Isaxanli thanked the Turkish statesmen on behalf of the university administration and student body. Then a luncheon was served in honor of the guests.
