On November 17, 2016, international students of Khazar University participated in a shooting of a social ad about multiculturalism in Azerbaijan. 

During the shooting, which was run by Public TV, the international students shared their experiences about people, culture, and traditions in Azerbaijan. They also give short information about themselves and their culture. The essence of their message was to invite people all around the world to show tolerance for one another and make the world a peaceful place to live in.

Participants included students from Afghanistan, Gambia, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Palestine, Turkey, Yemen and Zimbabwe.

This social ad is a project of the Youth Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in a connection with a year of multiculturalism. The year of 2016 has been announced the Year of Multiculturalism in Azerbaijan by the decree of the President Ilham Aliyev.
