On November 17, 2016, famous actress Türkan Şoray visited Azerbaijan upon the invitation of Khazar University. Along with the actress, famous French director, actor and screenwriter Robert Hossein also visited Azerbaijan’s capital.

They were inducted as members into Eurasian Academy and were given the Eurasian Legend award.

We note that Türkan Şoray is the first woman to be elected as a member of Eurasian Academy and to receive the Eurasian Legend award.
