On October 26, 2016, Khazar University’s Library and Information Center staff members Saida Orujova (China Corner project manager) and Esmira Mehdiyeva (coordinator) held an event entitled “Chinese Folk Games and Exhibit of Chinese Books” for the students of the university’s affiliate Dunya School. Participants included Luo Xiaozhi, Director of the Confucius Institute affiliated with Baku State University, and Chinese language instructors. Saida Orujova opened the event with a speech about the China Corner and about China. Esmira Mehdiyeva informed the students about the books and games. Then Chinese language instructors showed the students how to play the games. The event continued with activities and quizzes.

Students received gifts from Khazar University and the Confucius Institute. Then they toured the exhibit.
