On October 19, 2016, Valida Karimova, Assistant to the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences at Khazar University, published her book entitled “Metaphor in Political Discourse” (ISBN 978-3-659-97239-3) through Lambert Academic Publishing in Saarbrücken, Germany. Lambert Academic Publishing, which covers 40 countries and150,000 writers, suggested publication when they saw Karimova’s article on “The English Language for Global Communication: Perspective of Youth” (No. 348, March 2016, pp. 70\ ISSN 2218-2772, http://khazar-review.khazar.org/) in the Khazar Review journal.

      The book “Metaphor in Political Discourse” was published in two languages and contains 53 pages. The book discusses main concepts of the linguistic aspects of metaphor, its use as a subject in political discourse, research on metaphor in English language, its political expression in media, and other characteristics of metaphor and political expression. The book was also included in a book fair in Frankfurt.
