On October 14-15, Dr. Farda Asadov, Director of the Center for Eurasian and Middle East Studies, participated in an international meeting in Tbilisi for the European commission ISSICEU project on European Policy research in the Caucasus. The meeting introduced research results from the research centers of German, Swiss, Russian, Georgian and Turkish partner universities. Dr. Asadov also made a presentation about Khazar University research, including a sociology survey conducted as part of the project and presentations of academic writing, and he noted that the preparation of recommendation packets on European policy regarding development of factors that would provide stability in the Caucasus is a measure of the project’s success. Khazar University’s achievements were highly evaluated by the consortium leadership and members.
