On October 14, 2016, the head office of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) hosted a ceremony to present plastic cards to the Internal Scholarship Program grantees and certificates to the Summer School 2016 participants.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, rectors of the higher educational institutions in Azerbaijan, NGO heads, and representatives of other companies’ management attended the awards ceremony. Kamran Alasgarov, second-year master’s student of Khazar University’s School of engineering and Applied Sciences who is majoring in Petroleum Engineering, was among the SOCAR scholarship grantees.
