On October 2-9, 2016, Ali Huseynli, Head of the Department of Mathematics of Khazar University, went on a business trip to Yildiz Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey). He gave a number of seminars on the topic of “Some spectral properties of non-selfadjoint differential operators” at the Mathematics Department with the attendance of faculty members, PhD students and master students of the department. He also organized a one-week seminar entitled “Boundary value problems of analytic functions and their applications to basicity problems” for PhD students and master students of the Department of Mathematics. Huseynli’s activity at the department was highly appreciated by the School of Arts and Sciences and he the suggestion was made that he supervise one of the master students of the Mathematics Department.
