In the Annual Report of the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ Azerbaijan Section for the years 2015-2016, an article was published about the success of the Khazar University student team in the international PetroBowl knowledge competition. A team of 4 Khazar University students who had won second place in the Regional PetroBowl Qualifications in London went on to participate in the Finals Competition at the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in Texas in 2015. This was the first time that Azerbaijan was represented in the final round of the competition.
