On September 26, 2016, Dr. Irada Khalilova, Head of the Biological Sciences Department and Centre for Cell Pathology Research of Khazar University, visited the Biomedical Centre of Uppsala University in Sweden. Dr. Khalilova met Professor Leif Kirsebom, Director of the Biomedical Centre and instructor in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology of Uppsala University. Professor Kirsebom introduced Dr. Khalilova to the research laboratories and facilities. Then they discussed opportunities for research collaboration and joint educational programs between Khazar and Uppsala University.
