Instructor’s Article Published in Canada

An article entitled “Feasibility of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) implementation in the education system of Azerbaijan: Attitude towards CLIL and the English Language in Higher Educational İnstitutions” by Jamala Mammadova, instructor of Khazar University’s Department of English Language and Literature, was published in the International Journal of English Linguistics in Canada. The article includes primary recommendations for future use of CLIL in higher education institutions of Azerbaijan as well as research in this field which was carried out in 4 higher education institutions including Khazar University. The article is similar to works of noted European researchers such as Lasagabaster & Sierra (2009) in Spain and Merisuo-Storm (2007) in Finland.
