On September 15, 2016, an opening ceremony was held to mark the beginning of the 2016-2017 academic year at Khazar University’s affiliate Dunya School.  The school’s founder, Nailakhanim Isayeva, opened the ceremony with a speech. She also gave the audience information about the new branch of Dunya School opening this year in Sumgayit.

Then speeches were made by Azay Guliyev, a pupil’s parent and Member of Parliament; and Yahya Aliyev, Division Head at Binagadi District Executive Power. They congratulated the pupils and teachers and wished them success in the new school year.
