On 29 June, 2016, a meeting was held with the representatives of UCL Institute of Education at Khazar University.

The representatives, Dr. Clare Brooks, Head of Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy & Assessment of UCL Institute of Education and Moya Wilkie, Head of Department of International Relations were informed about Khazar University, particularly, about School of Education and about the projects on General Education System conducted by order of the Ministry of Education. Dr. Elza Samadli, Head of School of Education, Raziya Isayeva, Director of the Development Centre, Mukhtar Hajizade, Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Eynur Mehdiyev, Major Programs coordinator of English Language and Literature Department, Irada Khalilova,  Head of Biology Department, and Lala Hamidova, an instructor of English Language and Literature Department participated at the meeting. The participants discussed the perspectives on future collaboration between the two universities.
