Professor Hamlet Isaxanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University, Dr. Elza Semedli, Dean of the School of Education, Associate Professor Roza Arazova, Head of the Department of History and Archeology, Vurghun Eyyub, Head of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature, Elnura Azizova, Head of the Department of Languages and Civilizations and Dr. İbrahim Yıldırım, Head of Yunus Emre Institute`s Baku branch, Ali İhsan Chevik, Coordiantor of Education Department, instructor of Turkish language Aydan Umudova participated in the meeting.

The meeting covered the perspectives of cooperation between Khazar University and Yunus Emre Institute as well. In order to get familiarized with the university`s activities, the guests visited the university`s  library, cultural centers, classrooms, laboratories, related institutions and Turkish World Research Center established by Turkish Coordination and Cooperation Agency after the meeting.

Khazar University`s close cooperation with Turkish institutions of higher education and other private and public agencies was highly appreciated by the guests.

To draw the attention to the activities of Yunus Emre Institute and its cooperation with Khazar University a meeting of representatives of Yunus Emre Institute with students and teachers was arranged for the begining of this academic year.
