On May 24, 2016, Eurasia Extractive Industries Knowledge Hub operating at Khazar University held a policy debate on “Low Commodity Prices as an Opportunity for Reforms.”
The event began with presentations by well-known experts from Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan about the influence of current trends in the world market on the macroeconomic conditions in the abovementioned countries.
The event included participants representing research institutes, universities, governments, embassies, the press and the public from nine countries (Azerbaijan, Albania, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Mongolia and Tajikistan). It included a discussion about the above topic.
