On May 19, 2016, Khayala Mammadova, Assistant Editor for Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, was invited by the faculty and staff of the School of Social Sciences and Psychology at Baku State University to organize a seminar on “Guidelines for Writing Articles for Scientific Journals and Submitting them for Publication.”

The two-hour seminar covered a comparative analysis of standards for academic articles submitted to local journals vs. international journals and related issues. Participants were also informed in detail about how to choose an appropriate scientific journal before preparing their article for publication.

At the end of the event, Khayala Mammadova explained the recent achievements of Khazar Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences and answered participants’ questions.
