On May 11, 2016, 11^th-grade pupils from the Zekalar Lyceum Number 287 visited Khazar University for a meeting. Opening the event, Dr. Hassan Niknafs, President of the university, spoke about the structure of Khazar University. Deans also made presentations including Dr. Ingilab Ahmadov, Dean of the School of Economics and Management; and Associate Professor Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. International students from Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Yemen and Cameroon also spoke about their impressions of Khazar University and Azerbaijan. They answered pupils’ questions. Alovsat Amirbeyli, Director for Public Relations and Media, gave the pupils a tour of the Khazar University laboratories, Library-Information Center, Psychology Center, Civil Engineering Laboratory and various other rooms.

Then the pupils were served tea in the university cafeteria.
