On May 11 at Khazar University’s Downtown Campus, a meeting was held with His Excellency Mr. Khalid Usman Qaiser, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan.

The meeting was hosted by the following first-year students of Khazar University School of Economics and Management: Allahverdi Ismayilli, Nigar Quliyeva, Jala Huseynova and Fatima Ahmedova.

Students from different schools also participated. As the theme of the talk was Azerbaijan-Pakistan brotherhood, the undergraduates were keen to discuss economic, political and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan as well as to hear the Ambassador’s point of view on the future resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

According to the speech made by the Ambassador, Pakistan supports Azerbaijani territorial integrity and is fully ready for future military cooperation as well. He also stated that the military cooperation between these two countries has been long-lived and sound.

The Ambassador warmly answered students’ questions and wished them good luck in their future education and careers.
