On May 10, 2016, a Cultural Leadership Workshop took place at Khazar University for students of the School of Economics and Management. The workshop was facilitated by an international speaker, Mr. Attorney Attard. Toni Attard is Director of Strategy at Arts Council Malta, where he is leading a team responsible for the creation and development of the Council’s strategy for the cultural and creative sectors including the national funding portfolio for the sectors. He previously served as Creative Economy Advisor within the Ministry for Finance. He is one of the authors of Malta's cultural policy and co-author of Malta's Creative Economy strategy. He is also a creative practitioner with active involvement as an actor, theatre director and festival director.
