On April 27, 2016, the Imagine Team of Khazar University held their promotional campaign at one of the busiest malls of Baku – Park Bulvar. The promotional activity caught the attention of many visitors, both local and international.
The main goal of the promotional event at the mall was to raise public awareness about the negative impacts of extremism and provide information about the Team's efforts in fighting it. The Team distributed flyers for their campaign among mall visitors and informed them about the photo contest carried out by the team as part of their marketing strategy.
The main goal of the photo contest, which is being carried out on a social platform, is to select a picture taken with an umbrella (the symbol of the Imagine Team) that receives the most votes from the audience. Shoppers delightfully posed with an umbrella and the members of the team.
A lucky draw contest was also held at the mall. The winners of the contest were awarded with Imagine Team Mugs.
This was another successful event carried out by the Imagine Team of Khazar University as part of the marketing campaign they are implementing as part of their participation in P2P: Challenging Extremism program, a global university youth initiative and an international competition supported by the U.S. Department of State.
