On April 28, 2016, the Khazar University Alumni Working Group held a meeting to discuss a charter for the Khazar University Alumni Association and issues related to organizing the association’s founding conference.

Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of Khazar University, opened the meeting by greeting the alumni and expressing his views on agenda items. Then a lively discussion took place, in which alumni shared their opinions and suggestions about the charter. A decision was made to hold the founding conference during the first 10 days of June 2016, and an Organizing Committee was formed. Baba Bayramli, Director of the Center for Alumni Relations, was selected as the chairman of the committee. Other committee members will include Nigar Karimova and Shahriyar Mammadov as deputy chairmen as well as Nigar Jabbarova as the committee secretary.
