Previous Erasmus Mundus Projects

Title:   Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Partnerships

Duration: 2007-2011 

Discription: The ATEI of Thessaloniki has been coordinating two (2) Erasmus Mundus projects for S. Caucasus since 2007. The Erasmus Mundus Action 2 - LOT 6 (previously ECW LOT 5) project is addressed to Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

Main objectives: 

To give the opportunity for mobility to beneficiaries from all levels of higher education between Europe (EU) and South Caucasus (SC) and offer them contemporary training programmes, qualifications and experience,thus, contributing to their educational, managerial and cultural enhancement, as well as to the amelioration of their socioeconomic environment

To provide education, access to new technologies and support of every kind to disabled students, as well as to vulnerable groups  

To enhance the international cooperation capacity and human resources development of the S. Caucasian partner Universities 

To create sustainable educational, cultural and economic links among the Institutions and countries of Europe and S. Caucasus 

To facilitate towards the development of entrepreneurship opportunities between the EU and SC private sector 

To contribute to long term sustainable development in S. Caucasus and offer assistance towards the improvement of the local economies
