On April 14, 2016, the Final Dissemination Conference of the PACT (Project Actors Capacity Building) TEMPUS project was held at JW Marriott Hotel. Khazar University was a partner university in the project, which was supported by the European Commission. Presenters at the Dissemination Conference included Dr. Hasan Niknafs, President of the University; Parviz Baghirov, Director of the ERASMUS + National Office for Azerbaijan; Raziya Isayeva, Development Director at Khazar; and Tarana Mahmudova of Baku State University. They gave information about the project, its results, and opportunities it created for Azerbaijani universities.
Rima Mammadova, project manager of the “Establishment of a Foundation for the Integration of Disabled People into HEIs of Azerbaijan” (ESFIDIP) TEMPUS project and coordinator of the Center for Students with Disabilities at Khazar University, also made a presentation about the project.
The conference included a guest speaker, Chuck Sheridan, who shared his experience in project management from the first European Games in Baku.
Participants in the conference included administrators and staff members of Khazar University, Baku State University and other universities of Azerbaijan.
The project coordinator was David Tvildiani Medical University of the Georgian Republic.
