On December 28, 2020, Khazar University in cooperation with Middlesex University held a virtual seminar within British Council’s Creative Spark project. Gunay Kazimzade was the guest of the first seminar entitled Womenin Entrepreneurship: Challenges and Opportunities.
Gunay KAzimzaade is a Doctoral Researcher on Artificial Intelligence at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin, Germany. Ms. Gunay Kazimzade is also a PhD student in Computer Science at the Technical University of Berlin. Currently, working with the Research Group “Criticality of Artificial Intelligence-based systems”. She is a TEDx speaker and was highlighted in European Women in Technology Conference 2018 in Amsterdam gathering more than 4000 Female Digital leaders from Europe. Currently, she is managing the social platform “TechCentrum” which is aiming for knowledge exchange in Emerging Tech field.
The event which was held via MS TEAMS commenced with a greeting of Director of Development of Khazar University, Ms. Raziya Isayeva. She gave information about the topic of the seminar. Ms. Gunay Kazimzade spoke about her career advancement. She shared her experience on what one need to do, and what knowledge and skills should acquire in order to become successful in entrepreneurship.
The seminar has gathered over 70 participants from Khazar University, Ganja State University and other institutions. Second half of the seminar was built on the questions addressed by the participants. Very interesting discussions over the challenges and opportunities women entrepreneurs face were held and led to agree on other future seminars and collaborations.
