On November 13, 2020, the monitoring meeting was held within Khazar University's partnered and ended in April 2020 Erasmus+ project, “Promoting Migration Studies in Higher Education” + (PROMIG, 573554-EPP-1-2016-1-GE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
The meeting organized by the National Erasmus + Office was joined by another partner of the project from Azerbaijan – staff member of the Baku Engineering University.
Raziya Isayeva, Khazar University’s Director of the Development Center, dean of the School of Economics and Management Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov and project manager of Development Center Ulkar Bayramova attended the monitoring meeting of the project.
The meeting was opened by Parviz Baghirov, Head of the National Erasmus+ Office, and chaired by Zafar Hasanov, Monitoring and Promotion Officer of the National Erasmus+ Office. Employees of both universities provided information on the work delivered in the last months of the project, equipment and books purchased under the project, trainings held at the last Delhi meeting of the project, migration programs opened in Afghan universities, university staff and students who participated in the training. In addition, the project partners answered questions from the National Erasmus + Office and discussed the implementation of plans for the project's sustainability despite the completion of the project.
The management of the National Erasmus + Office considered the work done after the completion of the project satisfactory, noted the importance of sustainability after the end of the project, and noted that the work to be done in this direction will play a major role in strengthening project results.
