From September 9 to September 25, 2020 Asaf Omarov, Head of Life Sciences Department at Khazar University, takes on the role of a trainer in the project of “Improvement of cattle production through the establishment of effective cattle breeding and feeding systems in Azerbaijan” organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The aim of the training is to improve the productivity of cattle by developing appropriate strategies for breeding, strengthening services for artificial insemination and feeding systems. The theoretical part and the practical part of the online trainings are currently underway.
It should be noted that Asaf Omarov was elected a local consultant of the UN FAO in the previous project.
