On February 21, 2020, Nilufar Alizade, an instructor and PhD student at Psychology Department, conducted “zoom call” meeting with Dr. Amanda Clinton, Director of International Relations at the American Psychological Association, which plays an important role in the development of psychology. Dr. Amanda Clinton got acquainted with the work process of Khazar University's Psychology Department, indicating that she became aware of the developments in psychology in Azerbaijan for the first time. During the meeting, Amanda Clinton discussed APA's support for accreditation and other projects, and scheduled the next “zoom call” meeting.
It is worth mentioning that APA, founded in 1892, is one of the most important organizations in the world, comprised of 121,000 researchers, teachers, clinicians and consultants.
