On December 25, 2019, Ajdar Babazade, Staff Member of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, was the guest of the Introduction to Archeology Course, at Khazar University downtown campus (122 B. Safaroglu str.). Presentation of the guest on the study and description of stones and other artifacts in archeology with an interdisciplinary and innovative methodological approach sparked a great interest among the students. In particular, the process of drawing visual materials from stone and agate (Poghosagomer) had a positive effect on students' perception of interesting and multifaceted aspects of archeology. As a logical end of the theoretical course of Orkhan Zamanov, the subject teacher, research fellow of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, the description and drawing of artifacts are of great importance. All students were able to describe the exhibits and findings they had selected for the first time. At the end of the lesson, the students took memorable photos and exchanged ideas with a guest with international expertise and had a chance to get answers to their questions.
