On November 29, 2019, a Scientific-practical Conference on “Contribution of Muslim Scholars to the Development of Science and Technology” was jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, Baku Yunus Emre Institute, Turkey’s Kirikkale University, and Fuat Sezgin Research Foundation for the History of Science in Islam. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, also attended the Conference. During the Conference, he talked about the reasons for the development of science in the Golden Age of the Islamic World, its further decline, and its revival in modern times. In addition, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli emphasized the vital importance of the union of scientists, government and the business world.
