On July 8-12, 2019, Raziya Isayeva, Development Director and Lyudmila Sotova, Head of the Quality Assurance Center participated in a meeting organized at the Polytechnic University of Valencia within Erasmus+ project “Promoting Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Azerbaijani Universities”.
Representatives of partner universities from Azerbaijan (Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ganja State University, Baku Slavic University) and Europe (University of Debrecen (Hungary), Jyvaskyla University (Finland), Vienna University of Applied Sciences (Austria), Gazi University (Turkey) attended the meeting.
The main purpose of the meeting was to present the achievements of the project and to plan the activities for the next 6 months such as development of dissemination and sustainability plans, conducting monitoring activities and etc.
During their visit the participants joined the “Education Change Forum 2019” held at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Keynote speakers shared their best practices in the implementation of new models in the development of teaching and learning process in higher education institutions.
During the sessions selected students from Polytechnic University of Valencia generated ideas about how higher education must change and adapt to our time and presented them to the participants of the forum.
