On June 20, 2019, Music and Fine Arts Department held the final exam on choir, vocal, decorative-applied arts and fine arts subjects for the 1st year students, studying at the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, School of Sciences and Engineering and School of Economics and Management at the Marble Hall of Khazar University. Khazar University Leadership, staff and students attended the event.
Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of Music and Fine Arts Department, honored teacher and Afag Karimova, Khazar University’s teacher, carpet artist, delivering their speeches talked about how students mastered the subjects learned during the semester and their creative works. Then students creative concert began with Zulfiya Sadigova’s piano accompaniment. They demonstrated the skills of choir, vocal and instrumental music (piano, tar, violin and drums).
Following that the exhibition of students' handicrafts took place. Students informed participants about their handiwork and answered their questions.
Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, familiarized himself with the work of each student and gave his recommendations. The Professor also expressed his attitude to the students' music creativity and made his remarks.
In general, the creative works of students were given a favorable assessment.
