The action plan of the Eurasia Extractive Industries Knowledge Hub for 2019-2022 period has been confirmed. The partners of the project are SDC (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation) and NRGI (Natural Resources Governance Institute) located in New York.
In the upcoming three years, Eurasia Knowledge Hub will hold traditional regional trainings on the extractive industry and will conduct a number of research projects. At the same time, according to new approved plan, Eurasia Knowledge Hub intends to launch a Master’s program in “Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Development” at Khazar University.
The subsequent seminar on “Natural Resources for Sustainable Development” will be held at Khazar University, on 21-29 June, 2019. Participants from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Russia will take part in it. The trainers of the course are experts from the UK, Netherlands and also from Khazar University.
Eurasia Knowledge Hub operates since 2010 and so far has more than 400 alumni.
