On January 25-26, 2017, an annual meeting was held in Brussels, Belgium for coordinators of projects selected for funding within the Erasmus+ 2016 Program. Raziya Isayeva, Khazar University’s Development Director, participated in the meeting as the coordinator for the “Promoting Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Azerbaijani Universities” project. The two-day meeting brought together representatives of 147 institutions to discuss program related matters and exchange ideas. A special helpdesk was organized to answer questions from coordinators on the second day of the event.
One hundred countries were represented in the event, and Khazar University was the only university from Azerbaijan. Khazar University is a grant holder for the fourth consecutive year. Khazar University’s current project entitled “Promoting Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Azerbaijani Universities” (PETRA) involves 14 partners from Azerbaijan and Europe and intends to promote teaching and learning excellence in Azerbaijan.
For the second successive time, Khazar University is the only grant holder from Azerbaijan.
