On November 20, 2016, an article co-authored by Malak Karimova and Narmin Osmanli of Khazar University School of Humanities and Social Sciences entitled “The Brief Symptom Inventory: A validity-reliability study of sample from Azerbaijan” was published in the Education and Training Studies journal (Vol 4, No12; December; ISSN 2324-805 XE-ISSN 2324-8068).
The authors adapted this test, which has been used in around 260 studies since the year 2000, for use in Azerbaijan on behalf of Khazar University. The test measures psychological stress levels. Psychologists and psychiatrists can use this test for primary determination of symptoms in their patients.
